Trelawny, Jamaica – A motorist was rushed to the Falmouth Public General Hospital early Friday morning after the vehicle he was driving overturned along the Salt Marsh main road in Trelawny.
The crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. and caused significant traffic delays for morning commuters, as emergency responders and police worked to clear the scene.
Reports indicate that the driver, who was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident, was assisted by a passing motorist and transported to the hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately known at the time of reporting.
Firefighters and law enforcement personnel responded promptly to the scene, and the Trelawny police have since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Motorists were advised to exercise caution while using the roadway, as investigations and cleanup efforts continued.
