Spanish Town, Jamaica — Detectives in the St Catherine North Police Division are actively pursuing suspects following a fatal robbery on Friday night in Spanish Town, where a delivery truck driver transporting chickens was shot and killed.
The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Reeshaun Dallas, also known as “Jordan,” of March Pen Road in Spanish Town.
Reports indicate that around 10:30 p.m., Dallas arrived in Naseberry Grove with a truck filled with chickens. It was there that he was reportedly ambushed by a group of armed men who held him up, shot him, and stole the truck.
After the attack, Dallas was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The St Catherine North Police Division is now intensifying its investigation, with detectives appealing to anyone with information that may aid in identifying and locating the assailants to come forward.
