KINGSTON, Jamaica – UK-based reggae and DnB producer Jason Watkis, more popularly known as DJ Paradise Musical-Genius, is on a mission to heal the world through music with his latest release — the “Global World Peace” album.
This conscious reggae compilation features a stellar line-up of iconic and rising voices from across the globe, including legendary Queen Ifrica and roots veteran Little Roy, famed for his 1974 anthem ‘Tribal War’.
The album boasts 12 powerful tracks, of which eight have already been strategically released, allowing each to shine with its own message and vibration.
The first two singles — Queen Ifrica’s ‘Everyone Wants Love’ and Little Roy’s ‘Fight For Jah Love’ — were dropped on August 1, in alignment with Jamaica’s Emancipation Day, adding deep cultural significance to the launch.
On August 9, celebrated globally as International Day of the World’s Indigenous People, DJ Paradise followed up with a batch of new releases, including:
- ‘We Survive’ – Jah Tiff (USA)
- ‘World Peace’ – Mitsy June
- ‘Peace In The World’ – Sista Zeal
- ‘How You Make Me Feel’ – Gritty ft. Sir Nutz
- ‘Memories’ – Shayhil ft. Sir Nutz
- ‘Jamaica Warning’ – Jah Clarity (Jamaica)
Each song is authentically rooted in reggae, with themes centered around unity, love, resistance, and healing. According to DJ Paradise, the “Global World Peace” project is more than just music — it’s a movement.
“My aim is to unite the world through music and sound,” the producer declared.
With artists spanning multiple cultures and backgrounds, this album boldly proclaims that we are one human family, all striving to overcome life’s struggles, regardless of geography or ethnicity.
