Jamaica News: A District Constable assigned to the Jamaica Constabulary Force died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision which occurred along a section of the Paradise main road, in Westmoreland on Monday September 30.
The dead District Constable has been identified as 32-year-old Monir Maden, of 7-West Greater Portmore, in St Catherine.
Reports by the Westmoreland Police are that about 1:30 a.m.,on Monday, Constable Maden was driving a Toyota motor car along the Paradise main road toward the directions of Ferris.
On reaching a section of the roadway he lost control of the vehicle which skidded off the roadway, and crashed into a wodden utility pole.
The impact of the crash resulted in the vehicle wrapping itself around the pole and, the District sustaining head and body injuries.
He was rushed to the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
