KINGSTON, Jamaica – The decomposing body of a woman was discovered on Monday in a barrel located in a gully off Marcus Garvey Drive, near Industrial Terrace.
The grim discovery was made before midday when a passerby stumbled upon the barrel and alerted authorities. The body was reportedly found inside a large garbage bag within the barrel.
Police were called to the scene and a team of officers responded. The body was subsequently removed, and the Kingston West police are now conducting an investigation into the matter. No further details were released at this time.
