St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Deadly Firearms Seized in St James: Three men are now in police custody following a massive firearm and ammunition seizure in St James this (December 2, 2017) morning.
Reports by the St James police are that a team attached to the Mobile Reserve and St James Special Squad carried out an operation in the Rohampton District in the Anchovy area this morning.
During the Operation a house occupied by all three accused was searched and the weapons (a Uzi Sub Machine gun, an Intro Tec Sub Machine Gun with extended barrel and a AK-47 assault rifle with varnish board and 50 mag clip along with a .380 pistol with extended barrel) were seized.
The police say they also seized over 200 rounds of assorted ammunition from the premises. The three occupants were subsequently taken into custody.
