Jamaica News, St Ann: One man is now dead following his involvement in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along a section of the Discovery Bay main road in the parish of St Ann on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Dead is, Daniel Wellington, 35-year-old laborer of Tivoli Gardens in Kingston 14.
Deadly Accident: 5 dead as SUV chased by Police
Reports by the Discovery Bay Police are that shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wellington was travelling in a Toyota Hiace minibus along with other passengers. On reaching a section of the Queens Highway in Discovery Bay, the driver of the bus lost control and drifted into the path of a Nissan Nevera motor car, which resulted in both vehicles colliding.
Wellington and two other passengers along with both drivers sustained injuries and were rushed to the St Ann’s Bay hospital where Wellington was pronounced dead and the other victims admitted in serious condition.
