Construction Worker Killed in Trelawny Motorcycle Accident

TRELAWNY, Jamaica –A construction worker lost her life, and a JCF Traffic Department officer was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Flamingo Beach, Trelawny, on Saturday night.

Initial reports suggest that around 7:00 p.m., the construction worker was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by a motorcycle driven by the JCF officer.

The impact of the collision caused severe injuries to both individuals. The construction worker was tragically pronounced dead at the Falmouth Public General Hospital, while the JCF officer was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation by the authorities.
