Jamaica is expected to experience a noticeable drop in temperatures beginning Monday night as a cold front moves over the island, the Meteorological Service of Jamaica has advised.
The weather system is forecast to produce cooler-than-usual conditions along with gusty winds, particularly affecting northern parishes and elevated communities. Residents in hilly areas are likely to feel the change more sharply as the front progresses.
For Tuesday and Wednesday, cloudy skies and intermittent showers are projected across northern sections of the island. Southern parishes can expect widely scattered afternoon showers, while breezy and cool conditions persist across most areas.
By Thursday, the forecast indicates isolated afternoon showers over western parishes and some interior hilly regions. Partly cloudy skies and continued windy conditions are also anticipated.
The Meteorological Service continues to monitor the system and encourages citizens to stay informed through official weather updates.
