Gun-war Caused Death of Two Innocent Sandy Bay Brothers, Police

Clarendon, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Sandy Bay Brothers Killed: Clarendon Police are now stating the reason for the murder of the 16-year-old and 19-year-old brothers, is believed to be mistaken for a relative involved in a gun-war, who stayed at their home.

Police have uncovered that the alleged motive for the killing of two teen brothers and the shooting injury of another teen on Thursday morning, April 13, in Sandy Bay, Clarendon was due to a dispute over a stolen gun.

Mckoy’s News learnt that three men broke into the home of the brothers and their mother on Thursday morning, armed with high-powered rifles and opened fire in the home, killing brothers 19-year-old Richard Blake and 16-year-old Ricardo Blake, and shooting their 13-year-old brother in the foot.

Police say the gunmen came looking for a family member who once resided at the home, who the attackers believed to have stolen a firearm from them in St. Catherine. However, the family member was no longer living at the home.

Police say the teens shot and killed were innocent victims, as they were not known to be involved in any criminal activity.
