Jamaica News, January 23, 2018-Clarendon Mother Killed:
Clarendon, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News)- Three siblings in Lionel Town, Clarendon are grieving the vicious murder of their mother on Sunday night. Police also indicate that the said gunmen also tried to set her home on fire, as a section of her house is burnt out.
The deceased mother of three has been identified as 35-year-old Joy Cammock.
According to police reports, Cammock and her kids were awakened by strange sounds in their yard; she went outside to investigate, and immediately after the children heard loud explosions.
Clarendon Mother Killed: Joy Cammock’s oldest daughter reportedly rushed outside seeking for her mother after the shooting stopped and found her mother kneeling with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
The Clarendon police investigators suspect that her killers attempted to set fire to the house – which caused the commotions in the yard before Cammock ventured out to see what was taking place. She was supposedly ordered to her knees before being shot dead.
Investigators are probing the murder.
