Clarendon: May Pen PNP Councillor Caretaker and Son Murdered

Clarendon, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – May Pen PNP Councillor Caretaker and Son Murdered: The Clarendon police are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of Carol Ebanks, People’s National Party Councilor Caretaker and her son in May Pen Clarendon on Wednesday (December 13, 2017) night.

Reports are that shortly after 11:00 p.m., Ms. Ebanks and her son, Jevon Myles, both of Paisley Avenue were at a shop in the community when gunmen ambushed them and held them at gunpoint. Ms. Ebanks and her son were shot by the gunmen who made their escape in the area.

The police were alerted and they were transported to the hospital when they were both pronounced dead.

Ms. Ebanks contested for a seat in the recent Local Government elections but lost in the May Pen East Division.
