Jamaica Crime News, St Thomas: 24-year-old, Twaison Burke, otherwise called “China” unemployed of Sommerset district in St Thomas, was shot and killed by unknown assailants in his community on Friday night, September 28.
Reports by the Morant Bay Police are that about 10:40 p.m., Burke and a group of friends were at a Barbecue, which was being held in Sommerset district.
While at the venue, Burke was approached by a group of men who brandished handguns and opened fire, hitting him multiple times to his upper body.The men escaped in the area on foot.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Burke was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
