Car Washer Mobbed Almost to Death in Orange Bay, Hanover After Hit-and-Run Accident

Car Washer Mobbed: A 28-year-old car washer narrowly escaped death after being attacked by enraged residents in Orange Bay, Hanover. The incident unfolded at the Orange Bay County Club, where the victim is employed, following a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian.

The chaos erupted when the car washer, employed at the premises, allegedly drove away in one of his employer’s vehicles and struck a 47-year-old female pedestrian while driving along the roadway. Rather than stop to assist the injured woman, the car washer fled the scene and returned to the Orange Bay County Club.

Angered by the hit-and-run incident, community members pursued the car washer, eventually catching up with him at the club premises. In a fit of rage, the mob descended upon him, subjecting him to a severe beating.

Law enforcement authorities were promptly alerted to the situation and intervened to rescue the accused from the angry crowd. However, by the time they arrived, the car washer had sustained serious injuries from the assault and had to be transported to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the hit-and-run incident and the subsequent assault on the car washer.
