Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Montego Bay Businessman Winston Chue Murdered: The police in St James have now launched a manhunt for a lone gunman who on Wednesday, July 19, shot and killed a popular Montego Bay businessman at an upper section of the second city; then made off with his licensed firearm.
The deceased has been identified as Winston Chue, a 51-year-old businessman who resides in Westgate Hills, Montego Bay and operates several businesses around the township.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 2:00 pm on Wednesday, Mr. Chue who was contracting a building project along Merriam Way, in the vicinity of the Holy Trinity Church, had just driven up to the project site.
The businessman was standing beside his vehicle while supervising some of his workers; when a man walked up from behind him and brandished a handgun. The lone gunman fired two shots; hitting the businessman to his upper body and he fell to the ground in a pool of blood.
The gunman then proceeded to rob him of his licensed firearm before escaping in the area on foot.
The wounded businessman was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead whilst undergoing treatment.
A team of investigators from the Mount Salem and Freeport police departments were summoned to the scene and are now carrying out investigations.
Businessman Winston Chue is the fifth person to be shot and killed in Montego Bay in the past three days and the 159 person to be killed in St James since the start of the year.
