Buju Banton’s Daughter to be Taken to the Police to Confirm that She has been Located

Despite confirmation by young Abihail Myrie, that she is not missing, and a statement from her Attorney, Maurice McCurdy, that she is alive and well, the police are still insisting that the 21-year-old model be brought to the Kingston police today, in order for her name to be removed from the list of missing persons.

The police reported that they received a report and photograph of Abihail Myrie, on the weekend from close family members, of her being missing.

A missing person’s report was released on Saturday, October 9, seeking the public’s assistance to locate her. But since then, Myrie has sent across several social media tweets indicating that she is alive and well, and also that she was never missing.

The police on the other hand say, they have a protective role to play, and they insisted that Myrie be brought to the Detectives in Kingston today, so they can see her in person to verify that she is safe, in order for her name to be removed from the list of missing persons.

The police also stated that if this is not done, she will still be considered to be missing by the law.

Myrie was said to be last seen at her home in West Meade, Belgrade Heights, Kingston 19, and persons with information were asked to contact the Constant Spring police.
