St James, Jamaica: A 21-year-old man was shot and killed by armed men posing as police officers at his home in Green Pond, St James, on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, identified as Brent Booth, also known as ‘Brentie’, resided on Unity Crescent in Green Pond.
Reports indicate that around 3:45 am, Booth heard loud knocking on his door and men outside claimed to be police officers. He went outside to speak with them, and after a conversation, he was fatally shot multiple times.
Police were called, and upon arrival, Booth was found with gunshot wounds and rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
