ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Police in St Elizabeth have confirmed that two men previously named in active investigations have voluntarily reported to authorities, while efforts continue to locate others still being sought.
Law enforcement officials said Shane Brown of New Town, Black River, who was wanted in relation to the January 3 murder of Basil Bruce, turned himself in to the police. Investigators also reported that Michael McNeish, also known as “Johnny” or “Busha,” a listed person of interest from the same community, has likewise surrendered.
Despite these developments, police say several individuals remain outstanding. Among those wanted is Andre Blackwood, otherwise called “Squit Squit,” of Dry Cave Road in Siloah, St Elizabeth. He is being sought in connection with allegations of assault and possession of a prohibited weapon stemming from an incident reported on August 29, 2025, in the Windsor District.
Authorities have also identified additional persons of interest who are being urged to report to investigators. They include Johnoi Linton, also known as “Bad Oil,” of Peacock Heights, New Town, Black River; Ashaune Wint, otherwise called “Not Nice,” with addresses listed in Giddy Hall, St Elizabeth, and St John’s Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine; and a man known only as “Findo” from the Rice Piece District in St Elizabeth.
The St Elizabeth Police are calling on the remaining individuals to report immediately to the Black River Criminal Investigations Branch. Members of the public with information that could assist in locating them are encouraged to contact the St Elizabeth Police Division or the Black River CIB.
