St Elizabeth, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Tension and mystery gripped the quiet district of Burton in St Elizabeth on Wednesday after the lifeless body of a well-known farmer was discovered perched in a mango tree, sparking alarm among residents and a swift police response.
The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Delroy Brown, a farmer of Burton district.
According to reports from the Lacovia police, around 12:40 p.m., Brown was seen sitting motionless in a mango tree. But what appeared to be a casual rest in the afternoon heat quickly turned tragic — when residents realized he was unresponsive.
Police Called – Crime Scene Processed
The authorities were alerted, and lawmen from the Lacovia police station responded to the chilling scene. The area was cordoned off, and the body was eventually removed after forensic processing.
So far, no foul play has been confirmed, but investigators are probing the case thoroughly to determine the exact circumstances of Brown’s death.
