Bike Crash in St. Elizabeth, Rider from Manchester Dead

Nain, Elizabeth (McN) – A motorcyclist is dead and his passenger hospitalized in critical condition after his motorbike crashed into a wall.

Reports from the Nain police are that about 5:20 p.m on Friday, a motorcyclist was riding his motorcycle along the Lititz main road in St Elizabeth, with a passenger on board. He reportedly lost control of the vehicle and collided into a wall.

Police say the deceased motorcyclist is identified as 21-year-old Dwight Barrett, otherwise called ‘Shaky’, of New Forest in Manchester.

The passenger on the pillion was injured during the accident.

Both men sustained multiple injuries and were taken to hospital where Barrett was pronounced dead and his passenger admitted in critical condition.
