St Catherine, Jamaica: A shooting in the community of Buxton Town near Bog Walk claimed the life of an auto mechanic on Wednesday night.
The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Aston Pinnock.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., when residents reported hearing explosions. Pinnock was discovered with gunshot wounds to his upper body and was pronounced dead at Linstead Hospital.
The Bog Walk Criminal Investigation Branch is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Pinnock’s death.
