KINGSTON, Jamaica — Celebrated Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powell and his wife, Ghanaian model Alyshia Powell, have joyfully announced the arrival of their third child. The couple shared the heartwarming news on their YouTube channel, The Powells, in a video titled “The Day We Have Been Waiting For, Baby Number Three.”
The newborn, whose gender has not yet been disclosed, joins siblings Azhaf Powell and Amieke Powell. This addition brings the total count of Powell’s children to three.
In the video, Alyshia expressed her excitement, saying, “The Lord will provide, OMG, them two boys not even know what’s coming.” Asafa, known for his sense of humor, added, “I have to prepare myself for sleepless nights.”
