Armed Robber Shot and Killed in Kingston

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: A man armed with a knife, who attempted to rob a bus operator in downtown Kingston on Saturday, July 21, was shot and killed by the police.

The dead robber has been identified as, Delgado Hislop, 40-year-old unemployed of Waltham Avenue in Kingston 13.

Reports by the police are that on Saturday afternoon, Hislop went to a section of Victoria Avenue where he held up the bus operator at knifepoint and demanded money.

Doctor Fatally Shot in Texas Medical Centre Shooting

A police officer who was in the area challenged the armed robber, who also attacked him.  The policeman pulled his service pistol and shot the robber to his upper body.

The wounded robber was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A team of detectives attached to the Inspectorate of Constabulary and a team from INDECOM are now carrying out investigation surrounding this latest fatal shooting.
