ST ANDREW, Jamaica – A joint operation conducted by Deputy Superintendent of Police Eucal Francis and his team from the St Andrew South Division, along with members of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), resulted in the seizure of an AR-15 rifle in the Payneland and Delacree Lane communities.
The operation, which took place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., was part of ongoing efforts to address crime and violence in the area.
During the cordon-and-search operation, the high-powered weapon was discovered, though it was found without a magazine. No arrests have been made in connection with the seizure.
