St. James, Jamaica (McN) – St. James police have their hands filled with murder investigation, now another Norwood youth murdered has been added to the list. Investigations are now been carried out by the St James police into the shooting death of a man in the community of Norwood on Friday night, April 14.
The dead man has been identified as is Santino Plummer, 24-year-old of Paradise, Norwood.
Reports are that about 7:30 pm on Friday, residents living in Hendon, Norwood alerted the police after hearing loud explosions which sounded like gunshots coming from the directions of the Hendon Basket Ball Court.
Upon the arrival of the police a search was carried out and they discovered the victim lying along a section of the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
