Trelawny, Jamaica: Another of the five prisoners who escaped from the Barnett Street Police Lockup on December 14 has been fatally shot by police.
The deceased has been identified as Tyrese Brown, also known as ‘Sheets,’ of Albert Town, Trelawny. Brown was one of three individuals charged in connection with the brutal murder of 15-year-old Jamelia Cole, who was sexually assaulted and killed in Cotton Tree Lane, Trelawny, last year.
The circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting are still under investigation. More details will be provided as they become available.
