Anthony “ASG” Grant Teams Up with Guxxie Music: US-based Jamaican reggae and dancehall artiste Anthony “ASG” Grant is preparing to release his new single, Perfect, on July 10. The track follows his 2025 hit Stronger and is aimed at celebrating and empowering women.
Produced by Demone “Guxxie” Gustavus for Guxxie Music in collaboration with ASG Records, Perfect blends dancehall rhythms with a message of appreciation for women. While the song contains explicit lyrics, Grant says its overall theme is one of respect, confidence and admiration.
Grant explained that the inspiration behind the song was his desire to highlight independent women and remind them of their worth, regardless of appearance, while also paying tribute to the strength and resilience they display every day.
Gustavus, who is based in Kingston, has known Grant since they were both growing up in the same community. The pair have collaborated as co-producers since 2016, beginning with the Work Medz Riddim project.
kmOver the years, they have worked with artistes including Blak Ryno, Devin Di Dakta, Artik, and Xyclone. Perfect marks their first official release together with Grant as the featured artiste.
Grant said their long-standing friendship made the creative process effortless, noting that once Guxxie heard the melody, he immediately knew how to bring the track to life.
He added that he hopes Perfect will inspire confidence among women around the world and encourage them to feel proud of themselves and their accomplishments.
Perfect will be available on all major streaming platforms from July 10.
