A 91-year-old man known as Zee has been chopped to death by unknown assailant(s) at his home in the rural community of Bohemia, St Ann on Thursday.
Reports are that the senior citizen was found lying on his bed with multiple chop wounds by residents early Thursday morning.
The police were alerted and the body removed to the morgue.
Police are still conducting preliminary investigations.
