Hotel Chef and Cook Robbed Along Jimmy Cliff Boulevard, in Montego Bay

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay (McKoy’s News): Hotel Chef and Cook Robbed The Barnett Street police are now in search of a group of robbers, who are behind a number of armed robberies carried out in the vicinity of the Old Hospital compound, along Jimmy Cliff Boulevard, in Montego Bay, St James.

The latest victims to be robbed in the area have been identified as a 26-year-old cook of Salt Marsh in Trelawny, and a 30-year-old chef of Pond Piece community in Hopewell, Hanover.

Reports are that, both victims who are employed to the a resort in the tourist area were on their way home from work about 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, when on reaching the vicinity of the Old Hospital Park, they were held up by men armed with knives.

The victims were robbed of cash and their cell phones by the men who later fled the scene.

A report was made to the police and an investigation launched into the robbery, which is said to be one of many which have taken place in that vicinity over the recent weeks.
