Jamaica News: Two small scale Clarendon farmers are appealing for the authorities’ intervention over what appear to be broken main in their community.
For the last two weeks the Rosewell residents have been watching helplessly as their properties turn into swamplands.
Mosquitoes have also started to use the water around their homes as breeding sites.
The men say they have made numerous phone calls to their Member of Parliament to get some assistance however their cries have fallen on deaf ears.
“Nobody come to our aid to fix the pipe and yet they quarreling about water shortage. All they do is sit and collect tax payer’s money. The man have to cut trench to carry away the water so it doesn’t come into his house.” said Mr McIntosh.
