Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – 4 Men Arrested for Firearm Seizure: The Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St James have now taken four men into custody in connection with the seizure of an illegal firearm and two rounds of ammunition at a premises on Hart Street on Saturday (December 9, 2017) evening.

Those taken into custody so far are a 23-yr-old laborer of Hart Street, another 20-yr-old laborer of Paradise, Norwood, a 30-yr-old dancer of Darlington in Westmoreland and a 23-yr-old vendor also of Hart Street.

The police reported that about 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, the Barnett Street police carried out several searches at a number of houses at Hart Street. On one of the premises they discovered a Browning 9mm semiautomatic pistol serial number 245PN71565 loaded with two live 9mm rounds.

All four men who were at the premises were taken into custody and are waiting to be charged.
