2 will be charged with Shineka Gray’s Murder – SSP Double Assures

St. James, Jamaica (McN) –  Senior Superintendent of Police for St. James, Marlon Nesbeth assures that two person’s will be charged with the murder of Grandville, St. James resident, 15-year-old Shineka Gray before the end of this week.

“…I can assure you that two men will be charged before this week is out…” says St. James SSP Nesbeth.

SSP Nesbeth, made the announcement on Thursday at the St James Municipal Corporation.

Reportedly police have two accused in custody for the gruesome murder of 15 -year-old  Shineka Gray, who allegedly took an illegal taxi before she went missing, after attending a funeral. He body was discovered three (3) days later, with multiple stab wounds.

Giving praises to the police investigators handing the investigation, Nesbeth states, members of the St James Crime Investigation Branch (CIB) are putting together the finishing touches of their investigation.

“I want to commend, publicly here, the astuteness of my investigators, who up to this time are still locked in their investigative processes providing an airtight case in that Shineka Gray situation. I can assure you that two men will be charged before this week is out for the various offenses and it is for the court to decide what happens to them. I can assure you that they will be charged,” SSP Nesbeth guaranteed.

The body of Shineka Gray, who attended Green Pond High School, in the 10th grade, was found three days after she was reported missing. Her decomposing body was found near the Irwin Meadows community of St James with multiple stab wounds.
