Denham Town, Kingston (McN) – Police have held a couple for questioning in the murder of Burger King employee Nile Brown.

Two persons of interest were detained on Monday in connection with death of Denham Town resident, 23-year-old Nile Brown, following police forensic examination of her home in Denham Town, Kingston.

The body of Brown was found in a blue barrel, believed to be from the victims home, with a wire around her neck, and her hands and feet bound. The barrel was dumped in a gully in Ramble District, St Thomas and discovered on Sunday, three days after she went missing, after residents smelt stench coming from the gully.

A post-mortem examination of the body is expected to be done later this week.
