CAVE VALLEY, St Ann—A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday when a 15-year-old student drowned while swimming in a river in his community of Cave Valley, St Ann.
The deceased has been identified as Matthew Fung, a resident of Borough Bridge District, also in Cave Valley, St Ann.
Reports indicate that around 6:30 pm, Matthew and a group of friends went for a swim in a local river. During the swim, he somehow encountered difficulties and drowned.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, Fung’s body was removed from the water and transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
