Jamaica Crime News, St Ann: Our news team has learned that 14-year-old Raven Wilson, who was found murdered in a St Ann community on Sunday morning, October 21, was a prominent student of the Ocho Rios High School.
The body of the teenage girl who went missing from her home at Top Road in St Ann Bay, St Ann on Friday morning, October 19, was discovered murdered in bushes at a section of the community called Top Pen.
Reports by the St Ann Bay police are that on Friday about 6:30 a.m., Raven was seen at her home dressed in a yellow blouse and brown slippers.
On Sunday morning, residents in the area raised an alarm after they stumbled upon a garbage bag in bushes, which contained the body of a human being.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, it was discovered that the body was that of the missing teen.
One officer stated that the victim had a large wound to a section of her head.
Since the news of her murder, hundreds of well-wishers and other students of Ocho Rios High School, have been posting tributes to her family.
Raven is one of several teenage students to have gone missing since the start of the year and later discovered dead.
