14-Year-Old Confesses to Shocking Double Murder of Parents in Middleburg

MIDDLEBURG, FLORIDA — A quiet Florida community has been rocked by a chilling double murder after a 14-year-old boy reportedly confessed to killing both his parents in the early hours of Monday morning, August 4.

The deceased have been identified as David Lee (44) and Brandi Smith (45), a couple described by friends as “loving, supportive, and deeply devoted to their son.”

But in a shocking twist, their only child — 14-year-old Trevor Lee — has been arrested and charged after allegedly shooting both parents inside the family’s home before calling 911 to admit to the crime.
