10-year-old Boy Shot and Wounded in Westmoreland

Latest Jamaica News, Westmoreland (McKoy’s News) 10-year-old Boy Shot and Wounded The Savanna-la-mar police in the parish of Westmoreland have commenced an investigation, surrounding the shooting and wounding of a 10-year-old boy, in the parish on Wednesday, September 4.

The police say the wounded child is presently still at hospital, in serious condition.

Reports by the police are that about 3:20 p.m., the child was walking along a section of Barracks Road in Savanna-la-mar when gunshots rang out.

Residents then found the child suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. The wounded child was rushed to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital where he was treated and admitted.
