A 21-year-old man, identified as Nicolas Williams, otherwise known as “Pooh Bear,” who was reportedly on the police’s most-wanted list for more than three years, has been apprehended and charged in connection with the killings of dancehall artist Floyd Ferguson, popularly known as “Fido,” and his father, Hubert Ferguson, otherwise known as “Bessie.”
Williams was charged on Tuesday, August 25, in relation to the June 5, 2026 killings in New Forest, Manchester.
The father and son were reportedly attacked and killed in what investigators have described as a brutal incident.
According to the police, Williams is alleged to be a contract killer and is accused of carrying out the attack with several alleged accomplices.
He has been charged with two counts of murder, robbery with aggravation and other offences arising from the case.
Police said Williams was questioned following his arrest and allegedly confessed to the offences. Investigators also said he provided a caution statement in the presence of two Justices of the Peace.
The police further reported that Williams is expected to face additional charges in connection with other robberies and shootings in the Corporate Area.
The matter remains under investigation.
