Dancehall legend Vybz Kartel is giving his fans a holiday treat with a limited-time Black Friday sale, offering Bleacher’s section tickets for his much-anticipated New Year’s Eve “Freedom Street” concert at half price. For two days only, November 29 and 30, fans can secure these tickets for approximately $60 instead of the standard $125.
Kartel made the announcement during the event’s official launch, responding to supporters who expressed concerns about ticket affordability.
“Vybz Kartel represents the poor people. We love all demographics, but we represent the Gaza fans and for Black Friday, bleachers tickets will be 50 percent off.” He added that this limited-time sale is aimed at making the concert more accessible to his supporters.
The highly anticipated concert will feature major acts from Kartel’s Portmore Empire, including Spice, Skillibeng, and his sons Likkle Vybz and Likkle Addi. Fans can expect an epic “reunion” of iconic artists like Popcaan, Lisa Hyper, and Tommy Lee Sparta. International stars, including Busta Rhymes and unnamed top female rappers, are also expected to make appearances.
Set for Jamaica’s National Stadium, the event promises a three-hour performance from Kartel himself. Known for his rigorous “kim-nastics” training, he assured fans of a high-energy, unforgettable experience. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m., with Kartel ready to ring in the new year with what he described as “magic.”
