Ronald Goshop, a revered figure in both the Jamaican entertainment industry and the education sector, passed away on Wednesday morning at the age of 72. The beloved actor and veteran educator was reportedly found unresponsive at his home, leading to an outpouring of tributes from colleagues, students, and fans alike.

Goshop gained widespread recognition in the early 1990s for his memorable portrayal of ‘Mackie’ on the popular TV drama *Royal Palm Estate*.
