Mandeville, Manchester — Tragedy deepened in Mandeville this afternoon as news emerged that a female victim involved in the morning’s brazen market shooting has succumbed to her injuries.
The woman, identified as 34-year-old Donnett Merchant of Warwick, South Manchester, was one of several individuals injured during the attack at the Mandeville Market gate. A man was also killed on the spot, and several others remain hospitalized as investigators continue to probe the circumstances of the deadly attack. Videos circulating online show the graphic aftermath, with bystanders rushing to offer aid amid the chaos.
The investigation continues, with police urging anyone with information to come forward.
