St. James, Jamaica— Law enforcement officers from the Granville Police Station made a significant arms seizure in the Top Gordon Crescent area of Granville on Monday, August 26. During a targeted search of a premises, police uncovered two high-powered rifles and a substantial quantity of ammunition.
The seized weapons include:
- One M&P 15 rifle equipped with a magazine containing ten (10) 5.56 cartridges.
- One M16 rifle fitted with a magazine containing twenty-two (22) 5.56 cartridges.
The firearms and ammunition were subsequently transported to the Montego Bay Police Station, where they will undergo forensic testing as part of the ongoing investigation.
