Two Motorcyclists Killed in Horrific Trelawny Crash

Jamaica News, Trelawny: Two Motorcyclists Killed Two motorcyclists died from injuries they sustained in a motor vehicle accident which took place along a section of the Deeside main road, inΒ  Trelawny on Sunday night. March 17.

Dead are 24-year-old Romone Spence, laborer of Congo Town in Wakefield Trelawny and 17-year-old Sanjay Richards, of Deeside district also in Trelawny.

Reports by the Falmouth police are that about 9:30 p.m., Spence and Richards were riding two motorcycles from the directions of Deeside Square towards Wakefield.

On reaching a section of the roadway, the driver of a Toyota motor truck which was traveling in the opposite direction, failed to keep to his left and drifted in the path of both riders.

Spence who was traveling in front on a Zamco motorcycle crashed head-on into the truck, while Richards who was traveling close behind on a Yeng Yeng motorcycle, collided into the motorcycle being driven by Spence.

Both riders sustained head and body injuries and were rushed to the Falmouth hospital, where they were pronounced dead upon arrival.
