Two Men Wanted in US on Lottery Scamming and Drugs Allegations Arrested in St James

The police in St. James arrested two men yesterday (May 17), who were wanted for extradition to the United States on drugs and lottery scamming allegations.

Damion Clarke, 41, and Damone Oakley, 40, were apprehended in separate operations by the Jamaica Fugitive Apprehension Team, the Lottery Scam Task Force, and the Area One Operational Support Team.

According to reports, around 3 a.m., policemen conducted an operation in Mount Salem, where a residence was searched and Clarke was held.

Clarke is wanted in the United States on firearm and narcotics charges.

Also in St. James, Oakley was held around 8 a.m. during an operation in Spring Mount.

Both men are currently in police custody awaiting an extradition hearing.
