Two Men Shot Dead, Child Injured in May Pen Shooting

Latest Jamaica News, Clarendon (McKoy’s News): Two Men Shot Dead Investigators from the May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are now probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of two men, on Seven Seas Road in May Pen, Clarendon, on Thursday afternoon, August 22.

The victims have been identified as 29-year-old Stephan Sharpe and 25-year-old Molano March, both of May Pen addresses. The shooting also left a child hospitalised.

Reports from the May Pen police are that about 1:15 p.m., both men and the child were among a group of persons at a house located on Sevens Road when a car pulled up. Men armed with guns alighted from the vehicle and opened fire at persons on the premises.

While attempting to escape, Sharpe and March were chased by the gunmen and shot multiple times.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the victims were taken to hospital where Sharpe and March were pronounced dead. The child was admitted in stable condition.
