Investigators from the Area One Major Investigation Division, are still probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting deaths of two men at a house in Mars, Roehampton, St James, on Wednesday night.
Those killed have been identified as 20-year-old Tavar Doman, labourer and 23-year-old Linston Anderson, a farmer and both of Roehampton addresses.
Reports by the Anchovy police, are that about 11:30pm, both Doman and Anderson were at a two bedroom concrete house which they both occupied, when men armed with handguns forced their way inside the dwelling, and opened fire hitting them multiple times.
The gunmen made their escape on foot in the area, while residents in the community who overheard the gunfire raised an alarm, and shortly after alerted the police.
On the arrival of the lawmen, both victims were discovered suffering from gunshot wounds, and were rushed to the Cornwall Regional hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Doman and Anderson are the second and third victims to be murdered in Roehampton community over the past two days.
