Two men were shot and killed during a police operation in Johnson Hill, Trelawny, on Wednesday morning.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force reported that the incident took place around 6:30 a.m. when officers carried out an operation at a house in the otherwise quiet community. The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.
Residents reported seeing a heavy police presence in the area as the operation unfolded. Law enforcement personnel remain on the scene as investigations continue.
