Two Men Identified Following Fiery Crash on North Coast Highway in Trelawny

Trelawny, Jamaica – January 5, 2026: Police have identified the two men who lost their lives in a fiery motor vehicle collision along the North Coast Highway on Sunday night.

The victims are 33-year-old Romeo Everton Robinson of Whitesands, Cambridge, St. James, and 36-year-old Kenrick Anthony Dove of Bogue Village, St. James.

Reports from law enforcement indicate that Robinson was driving a white Mercedes-Benz, with Dove travelling as a passenger. The crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. on the Cooper’s Pen main road. Moments after the impact, the vehicle erupted in flames, killing both occupants.

Firefighters later brought the blaze under control, after which the charred remains were recovered from the wreckage.

Police say investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal crash.
