Two persons perished as a result of injuries they sustained in a car accident on the Drax Hall main road in St Ann on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Gregory John, 49, of Lillyfield Road in Bamboo, and an unidentified woman.
The crash reportedly occurred around 12:10 am.
When the police and the fire brigade arrived on the scene, both victims were taken to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
