Trelawny, Jamaica: Food Vendor Arrested – A female food vendor from the parish of Trelawny was arrested and charged for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act following an incident on Saturday. She was apprehended with over one pound of ganja at a food stall she operates in Falmouth Square.
The vendor, identified as 48-year-old Nicole McDonald from Martha Brae in Trelawny, was caught with the contraband around 9:30 pm at her food stall in Falmouth. The police conducted a search and discovered two transparent plastic bags containing ganja, weighing approximately one pound.
McDonald was arrested and subsequently charged over the weekend. She is scheduled to appear before the Trelawny Parish Court on May 29th.
